Hi,

I live in Yorkshire, a county in the north of England, with my partner Ania. And two cats who adopted us.

Picture rugged, untamed moorland with Cathy running into Heathcliff’s arms – that’s Yorkshire! Well, without the running. (Picture jet black bundles of fur – that’s our cats.) Oh, and we don't have elephants or monkeys running wild in Yorkshire, so as you might have guessed, the photos on the left are from some of the 50 countries I've visited (best viewed on a desktop computer).

One of my most prized possessions is a sunburst Fender Strat, a guitar, which I’ve played in a variety of bands, performing both covers and original compositions (mainly rock).

I’ve studied a number of martial arts seriously – Tae Kwon Do up to black belt – and weaponry for fun – nunchaku (well, which guy hasn’t dreamed of being Bruce Lee!?).

A certified SCUBA diver, I’ve dived in exotic locations such as Mexico, Borneo, and the UAE, but never in England (do you know how cold the water is here!).

I speak 10 languages.

I invented a mathematical formula that makes multiplication easy. For example, multiplying 86 by 27 takes just seconds to do in your head.

My favourite meal is fish fingers and baked beans smothered in brown sauce. Or bacon sandwiches smothered in brown sauce. Or fish and chips smothered in brown sauce. Or cornflakes smothered in…? Yep, you guessed it – milk. (Hey, I’m a man of simple tastes, but I’m not stupid!)

And that’s about it.

Oh yeah, and I write. And make films.

My first novel, What if…?, was published in 2007 to absolutely no international acclaim whatsoever. Those who read it thoroughly enjoyed it but were far too few in number for Steven Spielberg to come begging at my door for the screen rights. Oh, well.

It did, however, inspire the What if…? Films Series, which is my attempt at doing some good in this crazy, mixed-up little world of ours.

The Angel of Darkness Series was born in 2013 and was supposed to be a small side-project, but grew into the biggest thing I've ever worked on. Now it's going to fund the completion of the film series.

Okay, that really is it this time. I hope you enjoy my site. Thanks for stopping by,

Steve
